We arrived at the hospital around 7:00am--I was doing pretty good without the epidural in the beginning--I think I went about 3 hours having contractions--watching The Office DVD definitely helped to keep me in a good mood.
The contractions definitely started to get bigger, so Matt helped to convince me that I was crazy if I didn't get the epidural ASAP.
Best idea ever!!
After about 11 hours of contractions and an hour and a half of pushing, Maya Lynn entered the world! She weighed in at 8 pounds 1 ounce, and measured 21 inches. Everyone keeps saying she is such a big baby--but she looks so little to me :-)
