Every time we go to my parents house Maya goes crazy looking at the beta fish they have. So earlier this month we decided to splurge ($3.50) and buy Maya a fish of her very own :-) We asked her what she thinks the name of the fish should be and she signed the word "please" It does get a bit confusing when we are talking about please the fish, but she doesn't seem to mind--she just likes giving him food and making her fish sign at him whenever she sees him. Also laugh hysterically at the fish bowl, I wonder what she is thinking when looking at him!

debbie, i love the name "please" the fish--yes, that would get VERY confusing taking about please, but what great memories you are creating with maya!!!
