Today we headed to the Philly Zoo with our neighbors for Boo at the Zoo. It was really fun to see all the different Halloween costumes and get to see all the animals too! Maya dressed up in her Elmo costume, and was like a little celebrity walking around the zoo. Everyone kept pointing and yelling "there's Elmo!". Maya kept looking around too, unaware that she was the elmo they were talking about. She even had her photo taken with people as you will see further down the page. Bizzaro...It was a beautiful fall day out and a perfect day to celebrate Halloween!
Maya was not a huge fan of the carousel, and missed daddy everytime we went around. Right when we got on the ride I strapped her in and she started signing "done" We will try again next time we go. Maybe it won't be so scary next time around :-)
Maya and Leah became friends by the end of the trip. Leah kept calling her "friend" and they chased each other around the zoo..it was pretty cute!
This group of people were obsessed with Maya and kept taking pictures, and then tried to take pictures with her. This ended with a lot of tears and a lot of laughter from her "paparazzi" It was really weird.
We had a great day, and will hopefully make this a yearly tradition!! Isn't Hailey the cutest little ladybug?!
